Chicken seasoning, easy and affordable. It is simple and perfect to give flavor to all your vegan recipes. Ready in just 5 minutes!

Photo of a glass jar of chicken seasoning

This chicken seasoning is one of my favorite condiments ever. It is super simple and extremely easy to make because you only need to mix all of its ingredients together.

Of course, I would never use this blend on real chicken recipes; I'll use it to give more flavor to lots of my vegan dishes. It really makes a difference if you want to reduce the amount of salt in your diet!

I love making my own seasonings at home because I like to customize them to taste. That way I can make the recipe that works best for me and I can be assured that it does not contain additives or preservatives.

This seasoning is simple, easy, and ready in just 5 minutes. It goes wonderfully well with plenty of vegan recipes and to make it you just need a bunch of spices!

How to make chicken seasoning - Step by step

Step-by-step photos of how to make this recipe
  • Add all the ingredients into a small bowl or a jar (photo 1) and stir until well combined (photo 2).
  • Use your chicken seasoning to make all kinds of vegan recipes.

Pro tips

  • Feel free to use what you have on hand. If you don’t have or like any ingredient, just omit it or use something similar.
  • I used dried herbs because I find them more convenient and they last longer, but feel free to use fresh herbs if you want.
  • I prefer to mix the different ingredients in a bowl because it’s faster and cleaner. However, you could also blend them if you'd like the seasoning to have a thinner texture.
  • Feel free to make a big batch of this recipe, as it will keep for a really long time.

What is chicken seasoning?

Chicken seasoning is a blend of dry spices and herbs used to give flavor to plenty of different recipes. This seasoning is meant to be used on vegan dishes and I promise it will make them so delicious!

How long will this chicken seasoning keep?

As it is made with dry herbs, this seasoning will last for a long time if stored properly. Remember to keep it in an airtight container in a dark, cool place and it will last for about 6 months or even longer.

How to use

One of my favorite ways of using this seasoning is with recipes like vegan chicken, vegan turkey, or vegan chicken noodle soup.

BRilliant, thanks for reply, does it matter how much of each you put in? Or do I need a certain amount of each? Thanks

Hi Helen! It depends on your taste and the amount of veggies you're cooking, I would add them to taste 🙂

Hi Helen! I like to mix some water or vegetable stock, soy sauce, garlic powder, and chicken seasoning to marinate tofu or veggies and it turns out delicious 🙂
