🧾 Recipes

Can I use your recipe or photo on my blog or website?

Recipes - I'm sorry, but we do not allow the use of our post or recipe text without prior consent. Copying and pasting our recipes onto other websites can negatively affect the search visibility of Simple Vegan Blog and may also raise copyright issues. If you have any specific questions about a recipe, please feel free to reach out to us via email.

Photos without recipes - Absolutely! We appreciate you wanting to share. When using our photos, please provide proper credit by including two links: one back to the original recipe post and one back to simplevegan.com.

Why didn't my recipe turn out like yours?

We completely understand your frustration, and there can be various reasons why a recipe didn't turn out as expected.

Factors such as ingredient temperatures, expired ingredients (especially baking powder), measuring techniques, pan temperature, oven variations, altitude, and even human error can all play a role.

Rest assured that we extensively test our recipes to ensure their success. However, cooking can be a unique and personal experience, so don't hesitate to reach out if you have any specific questions or need troubleshooting advice.

Got any recipes for ___?

If we have any, you can find them on the blog! Just use the handy search bar at the top of the website to look for a specific recipe or recipe type.

Aren't you aware that this food/ingredient/item is unhealthy?

We get it, everyone has different ideas about what's "healthy."

Our blog is for all kinds of eaters, and we love when people make our recipes their own.

Feel free to modify and share your experiences, but let's keep the dietary judgments to ourselves. We respect your food beliefs, so let's respect others' too.

👩🏻‍🍳 About Iosune

What is your background in food or nutrition?

I have no formal culinary training, but I graduated as a certified health coach from IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition) in 2016 and I’ve attended some cooking classes while traveling around the world.

Is blogging your full-time job?

Yes, it is! My husband Alberto and I launched Danza de Fogones, our Spanish vegan recipe blog, in 2013. The following year, in 2014, we launched Simple Vegan Blog. Since 2015, we have been dedicated full-time to blogging.

What’s your favorite recipe?

I personally lean towards savory recipes, and if I had to choose just one, my favorite would be my Easy Marinated Tofu.

On the other hand, my husband Alberto has a sweet tooth, and his favorite recipe is my Easy Vegan Peanut Butter Cookies.
