I barely ate ketchup when I was a child, except when I ate French fries or burgers in a fast food restaurant, however, Alberto loves it and he could eat ketchup with almost everything.
Many parents use ketchup to get their children to eat vegetables, but ketchup is full of refined sugar, so it's not the healthiest food on the planet.
This healthy ketchup is ready in just 2 minutes, you just need to mix all the ingredients in a bowl! It doesn't taste exactly like store-bought ketchup, but it's so delicious and good for your health.
The "French fries" you can see in the pictures are baked, I avoid fried food because they make me feel sick and I love baked potatoes, they're crispy and really tasty!
You don't have to give up your favorite foods to be healthy, just find healthier alternatives, you're gonna love them!
Tip:
- Feel free to use other sweeteners, any other vinegar or your favorite herbs and spices.

Love, love, love this. It is soooooo good and healthy. I was looking for a good ketchup. I have been buying an organic brand, but couldn't find it anymore. I had a little bit of it left. I made this recipe and did a taste compare test, and this one won hands down. I will never buy ketchup again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Great recipe! Love the overall flavor. Didn’t have onion powder, so I used garlic powder and even added a little cayenne and Tabasco for a kick.
Should this ketchup be stored solely in the fridge? Just curious.
Iosune says
Hi Kelsey! Thanks a lot 🙂 Yes, you should keep it in the fridge 🙂

You should try True Made ketchup. It has no corn syrup and half the sugar of regular ketchup. They use a vegetable puree (butternut squash, carrot) to sweeten it and that also adds vitamins. If you really want to make your own at home, I'd take a cue from the True Made label and replace half of the maple syrup (or other sweetener) with butternut squash and carrot puree.
Iosune says
Hi Craig! Thanks a lot for your comment, although I prefer to make my own ketchup 🙂
